Why join us

We know that joining us is a big commitment, especially when it means learning new technology and new systems. But whatever your background, there’s no better place to be a technician than Volkswagen Group. Our brands are renowned for their technological excellence and dedication to quality performance, so you’ll find yourself working at the cutting edge. It’s challenging, varied and always evolving. As well as the chance to work on one of our outstanding brands, all built to the same high standard, you’ll get the support you need to make the very best of your skills.

National Learning Centre

Joining Volkswagen Group means access to the best training in the industry. That includes several days a year at our National Learning Centre (NLC) in Milton Keynes. Your travel, accommodation and meals are all on us while you’re away (although we’ll offer more courses remotely soon). With 21 workshops and nearly 700 technical courses on offer, the NLC will bring out the best in you. As well as great training, you’ll get the chance to meet with and learn from other technicians from all over the country.

All the dealerships working with Volkswagen Group offer competitive salaries and benefits, and they vary from business to business. Rewards typically include a performance bonus, overtime payments, a pension scheme and, of course, access to the national Volkswagen Group training programme.

When you make your application, we’ll ask you to choose the brand you’d like to work for and in which location. We can then tell you the range of salary and benefits on offer for specific franchises. If you've any questions, please give us a call on the number below. We don’t want anything to get in the way of a great career move.

Learning and Development

As well as being employed by one of our franchise partners, you'll be part of a highly valued national team, so you’ll get a programme of training and development managed by Volkswagen Group. We’ll keep your skills up-to-date and make sure you progress at a pace that suits you. That means understanding your needs and lining up the courses and assessments you require. How far and how fast you go is up to you.
